Housing

The Housing team is headed up by Laura Coyle.  Laura has been practising exclusively in housing law since 2008, becoming head of the Housing team in 2018 and a Partner in the firm in 2022.

The Housing team can assist in the following areas of work:

We conduct a significant proportion of our work under legal aid but we can also assist you on a private paying basis. We can offer anything from an initial one off consultation in person or over the telephone to representation throughout proceedings. Read more details about our fees.

The Housing team works in partnership with Launchpad Reading to provide legal advice and representation in Berkshire. One of our solicitors, Vneeta Ratti, works in Launchpad’s offices in Reading town centre and is available to see clients there by prior appointment.

We also have a Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme (HPCDS) contract with the Legal Aid Agency and attend Oxford County Court every Tuesday morning and Reading County Court every Monday morning to provide emergency advice and assistance to anyone in Court facing possession proceedings that day, regardless of financial circumstances. Many court possession hearings are presently being listed for a review by the Court and we can help with these reviews under the court duty scheme as well as with the full court hearings.

Our aim is to provide efficient and sensitive advice and assistance and robust legal representation.
