Elvana Lala

Senior Immigration Lawyer

Elvana is a senior immigration lawyer in the Personal & Family Immigration department at Turpin Miller.

With a proud history of helping clients secure their future in the UK, Elvana has over two decades of experience and is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex immigration challenges.

Elvana's empathetic approach means she goes above and beyond for her clients, particularly those who have little hope of settling in the UK. She is committed to helping clients from their initial application all the way through to obtaining full citizenship.

Elvana has particular expertise in applications for European nationals and their family members, as well as all aspects of family immigration, including applications for partners and children under the rules or on human rights grounds. One of her flagship cases involved her tenacious fight to secure permission to remain for a Fijian veteran, a case that was widely reported in the media.

Beyond her client work, Elvana is passionate about mentoring the next generation of lawyers. She has trained over a dozen paralegals who have since gone on to have successful legal careers of their own.

A graduate of Oxford Brookes University with a degree in International Relations and Politics, Elvana joined Turpin Miller in 2005. She is fluent in both Albanian and Italian.
