Marit completed a BSc in International Social and Public Policy at the LSE and a MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford, focusing most of her research on Border Criminology.
She discovered Turpin & Miller through completing the Bonavero Human Rights Fellowship. She also worked as a research associate investigating human trafficking governance across the UK, Belgium and Romania. She is currently assisting with deportation cases based on human rights grounds.
