My name is Rebecca. The wonderful solicitors Turpin Miller got everything together. Such was the quality of the evidence they collated that the FTJ asked me to pass on his thanks for an "exceptionally well put together bundle". We then had a total of 7 witnesses to call and again Turpin Miller organised everyone so that they were on hand to testify remotely when required.
The entire process was very well organised. Outcome of all this diligence? Appeal allowed on the day after being told "I don't need to hear from you..." Before joining Turpin Miller in September 2021, Jessie volunteered with Asylum Welcome in their Europa-Welcome department where she assisted EEA nationals with their EUSS applications.
In 2020 she graduated the University of Essex with an LLB in Law with Human Rights and in December 2021 received her LLM in International Human Rights Law.
Her LLM dissertation was a study on the interrelation of populism, the hostile environment and the end of free movement, understanding how these three components of society have influenced one another as well as how they have contributed the governments oversight after the EUSS deadline in June 2021 and what these oversights mean for the future of vulnerable EEA nationals in the UK.
