My name is Rebecca. The wonderful solicitors Turpin Miller got everything together. Such was the quality of the evidence they collated that the FTJ asked me to pass on his thanks for an "exceptionally well put together bundle". We then had a total of 7 witnesses to call and again Turpin Miller organised everyone so that they were on hand to testify remotely when required.
The entire process was very well organised. Outcome of all this diligence? Appeal allowed on the day after being told "I don't need to hear from you..." Vneeta Ratti
Vneeta is a member of our Housing team. She is based in the Launchpad office in Reading where she conducts publicly funded housing work for Turpin Miller while also providing support and legal assistance to the Launchpad team and their clients.
She is able to advise clients in relation to all publicly funded housing issues, including conducting litigation in the County Court where required. She also provides pro bono assistance at Reading County Court on alternate Mondays as a duty solicitor in respect of possession matters.
Vneeta trained at Hodge Jones & Allen in London, where she was able to continue to build on her strong interest in social housing and litigation. She has presented seminars to a number of Local Authorities in relation to homelessness, as well as providing advice on a local radio show and at regular pro bono clinics. She also provided free legal advice and assistance to residents after the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Vneeta graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Law.
