Cathy Gough

Senior Caseworker

Cathy is a member our Housing team. She has 25 years of experience in advising on housing matters and specialises in defending possession proceedings and homelessness challenges.

Having achieved the professional qualification of the Institute of Housing, Cathy acquired extensive experience in London with the Brent Housing Aid Centre and Paddington Law Centre. She was then commissioned to set up and run two housing advice centres for the City of Westminster. A trained mediator, she ran an Alternative Dispute Resolution Charity for 10 years before joining Turpin Miller in 2007.

She has delivered training for the Association of Housing Aid and was a member of the Joint Charities Commission, working to protect and extend homelessness legislation in the 1980s.

Cathy has a degree in Social and Economic Geography from Bristol University.
