Katherine Soroya

Supervising Caseworker

Katherine is a member of the Legal Aid team. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022. She is accredited by the Law Society as a Supervising Immigration Caseworker.

She has particular experience in supporting clients through the asylum process, with a particular focus on gender and sexual identity based claims.

Katherine was a recipient of the Albion Richardson Bar Scholarship from Gray’s Inn. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at Oxford Brookes in 2019 with a distinction and was the recipient of the School of Law Diploma Prize.

She holds an MSc in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA in International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London.
