Ruth Hawkins
Ruth Hawkins is a Solicitor in the Family Department specialising in childcare and private children law. She is the team leader for the Private Law Family Team.
She works in both the Oxford and Reading offices.
She obtained her law degree from De Montfort University and her professional qualifications from Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. She trained at Morrison & Masters and prior to Turpin & Miller LLP she worked at Faulkners, Hodsons & Hedges.

She is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, the Association of Lawyers for Children and Resolution.
Ruth is on the management committee for Donnington Doorstep Children Centre & Peachcroft Pre-School, and in both capacities, responsibility for advising on Child Safeguarding.
She specialises in acting for parties, including parents and family members but also children (via their Guardians) in Care Proceedings.
