Philip Turpin


Philip Turpin is a Solicitor in the Immigration Department and one of the founding Partners of Turpin & Miller LLP.
He works in both the Oxford and Reading offices.
He has nearly 30 years experience in the field of Immigration and Nationality law. He studied law at Nottingham University before training as a barrister. He was called to the Bar in 1982 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1991.
In 2002 Philip established Turpin and Miller Solicitors with Clare Miller.
He is a member and former Executive member of Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA). He is an Accredited Supervisor.
He continues to undertake both private and publicly funded work.
He is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and Partners.
Philip represented the Applicant in SA (Bangladesh) [2005] UKAIT 00178, [2006] Imm AR 210 and co-authored the following article:
