Emily Boardman is a Solicitor and one of the Partners at Turpin & Miller LLP. She is the head of the Family Department.

She works in both the Oxford and Reading offices.

She studied law at The University of London (SOAS) and obtained her professional qualifications from The College of Law (London). She trained in London and worked at Horwood & James in Buckinghamshire before joining Turpin & Miller LLP in 2006.

She is a member of Resolution and is the chair of Oxfordshire's Resolution group and sits on Resolution's national legal aid committee. She is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, The Law Society's Children Panel and The Law Society's Family Law Panel.

Emily undertakes any complex family cases but specialises particularly in representing parents in child care and adoption cases.

She represented the applicants in the reported adoption case of T & Anor v OCC & Anor [2010] EWHC 964 (Fam)

She is the Solicitor referred to by EP in Case for legal aid - from a desperate young mother

Emily is rated in Chambers & Partners 2012 as a key individual who 'was recently promoted to partner at the firm. Her forte lies in public work involving children. "She is phenomenally hard-working and goes that extra mile," say sources'.

She was also recently rated as one of the Top 50 Influential Women in Business by Cotswold Life.
