Tom Giles is a Partner and a Solicitor in our immigration team.
Tom studied at Westminster University and joined Turpin & Miller in 2004. Since joining the firm he has specialised in Immigration and Asylum and, after qualification as a solicitor in 2007, has built up a national reputation for his work with those in immigration detention. His case work covers Immigration Removal Centres (particularly Campsfield House), prisons and Young Offenders Institutes. His expertise in complex Removal and Deportation cases – including bail applications, urgent injunctions and Judicial Reviews is unparalleled and he feels passionate about ensuring that those in detention are able to access clear and honest advice and representation.
Tom is available to travel to see clients, but is also very flexible in providing advice and assistance to detained clients by telephone, email or letter. He is also happy to see family members of those detained to advise them on what options may be available.
